The Portuguese capital has just been elected "European Consumers choice - best destination 2010", the first city to win the prize in the newest category of the European Consumers Awards presented by the European Consumers Choice organization, based in Brussels. Lisbon was victorious over the nine other competitors on the jury's shortlist - Barcelona, London, Copenhagen, Bilbao, Lyon, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Helsinki.

Eastern Lisbon - Parque das Nações 

INTERACT 2011 will take place at the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian conference center. Located in the city center, near Praça de Espanha, at a walking distance of public transportations, hotels, restaurants, museums and shopping areas, the premises include a large auditorium, a space for temporary exhibitions, a congress area with auditoriums and other rooms, as well as a large building that houses the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and the Art Library. The entire complex is set in the Gulbenkian Park.

A few INTERACT 2011 events will be held at Hotel Marquês de Sá, located next to the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian conference center. Panel, poster and demo sessions, as well as special interest group discussions, industrial programme and organizational overviews will take place at Hotel Marquês de Sá conference rooms. Additionaly, after Wednesday sessions, all participants are invited to join a "cheese & wine" event at Hotel Marquês de Sá.
